Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I've been blogging since 2010, but this is my first time writing a blog devoted to vegetarian recipes. I've been dabbling with vegetarianism for several years, but never fully embraced it. I want to blame my husband who is a meat eater, but ultimately I control what goes into my body. 

After developing several medical issues that are severely affecting my quality of life, I have decided it's time to embrace being a vegetarian 100%, to try and get my health back. So here goes! I hope you'll join me on my journey, as I begin navigating the deliciously healthy road of eating this way. (I am what is called an Ovo-Pesco-Vegetarian, I do not eat most meat or dairy products, but do eat eggs and fish)

A Few Random Facts:
-I live out in the country in southern Indiana on 3 acres with my husband Joe.
-I was born and raised in Indiana, but lived in Chicago for 18 years during the 80's and 90's.
-We love to travel in our RV, and usually spend the winter in Florida.
-The things I like the most about my home state: Small town country living and Fresh Indiana sweet corn-on-the-cob. 🌽
-What I miss about Chicago: Sightseeing and Chicago deep-dish pizza. 🍕
-My husband doesn't cook much, but he can make a mean pot of vegetable soup.
-I used to be a nursing assistant before a bad back cut my career short, and my husband is a retired truck driver who now runs a small engine shop. He seriously can fix just about anything!
